まくり（捲り、めくり）とは、表装されていない状態の書画のことです。表装しないまま置かれていたもののほか、屏風や襖（ふすま）、古い表装から本紙を剥がしたものも含み、掛軸に仕立てる前の姿にあたります。表装の費用がかからないぶん、同じ作家・同じ画題でも手に入れやすく、ご自分の好みや飾る場所に合わせて表装や額装を選べるのが魅力です。新・古美術 高美堂では、明治・大正・昭和に描かれた花鳥・山水・美人・慶事の画題を中心に、まくりを多数掲載しています。当店ではまくりの販売だけでなく、表装・仕立てなども承っておりますので、お気軽にご相談ください。※作品ページに表装代を記載しているものがございますが、昨今の物価高騰につき、表記が異なるものもございます（ただいま改定作業中です）。詳しい料金については別途お問い合わせください。お買い物ガイド もあわせてご覧ください。

Koubidou is a specialist dealer of Japanese antique art based in Izumo, Shimane, Japan, selling online since 2005. This page lists our current stock of makuri — paintings and calligraphy sold as the sheet of silk or paper alone, whether never mounted, or lifted from an old mounting, a folding screen or a fusuma sliding door. Because a makuri is flat and light, it can be rolled and posted anywhere in the world at little cost, then mounted or framed in your own country and to your own taste. Most works here were painted in ink and mineral pigment during the Meiji, Taisho and Showa eras, and cover birds and flowers, landscapes, beauties and auspicious subjects. We undertake mounting ourselves, so please ask if you would like a work mounted before it ships. Prices are shown openly and each work is one of a kind.
